UPDATE 12/26/17 – URGENT French Company Russia Biometrics

URGENT – Chris Hamby, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist for BuzzFeed published a story today about the company in the United States who the FBI relied on for fingerprint technology and according to Whistleblowers been using Russian software coding.

S
afran, a.k.a. Morpho/MorphoTrust/MorphoTrak according to Whistleblowers made a secret deal to use the Russian company Papillon’s software for fingerprinting. Many states in the U.S., and many agencies and departments of the federal government have been and are using the software of Safran/Morpho/MorphoTrak/MorphoTrust.

Safran recently sold their biometric and ID document identification business. The business was sold to Advent/Oberthur.The new company is named IDEMIA.

The Constitutional Alliance wrote what we had learned on our own about 5 months ago. Since that time we have been in contact with people at the highest level of our federal government. I am strongly suggesting to any state that has or is using Safran’s/Morpho’s fingerprinting software/services to immediately begin their own internal investigation.

Having been in contact with Chris Hamby for months, I can say he went above and beyond the call of duty to investigate the story BuzzFeed published this morning. It is not hard to see why Chris Hamby previously earned a Pulizer Prize.

I have been in contact with the Whistleblower’s attorney for about six months. We have spoken dozens of times.

My own concern is the threat to our national security that has been identified is enormous. We will be calling on Congress to immediately hold hearings. If in fact the Russians have a backdoor into law enforcement and intelligence databases the damage would be beyond description. I spoke to a cyber security expert who works for Congress who told me that if Russian software/technology was being used by our government, there is no way they would not have built a backdoor into the software.
