To All:
God, Almighty will know should you decide not to read this email. The last couple of emails I have sent out have been very short. This email requires thought. I attempted to call balls and strikes fairly, while using sourcing that more often than not, is not partisan. There are many hyperlinks.
You may decide you do not have time for me. That's fine, but how about the over one million of our citizens who have died in all the wars our country has fought, including the Civil War? How about their families? How about those who were injured and their families. Most importantly how about God?
Do you believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Not to, is in conflict with Genesis 50:24, Acts 7:32, and other scripture. Today, God knows how you will respond to the most important question asked about our form of government since the creation of our country. The question is part of this email. You can stop reading now, but if you do God will know your role in what is happening today in our country. I am not pulling punches any longer.
I am sending this out the evening of August 11th - 11:59PM, prior to tomorrow morning's economic numbers being released. I hope I am pleasantly surprised, however I am not expecting good numbers at all. Can we trust the numbers? I believe Wall Street will give us the answer to whether the numbers can be trusted.
WE ARE ALL WRONG MORE THAN WE REALIZE AND ADMIT - BEING INTELLECTUALLY HONEST
Today, I am asking everyone to acknowledge how wrong we often are. How many times have we all thought for one reason or another why a person is late, when person said they would be somewhere at a specific time? It might be our children, a business associate, a friend, or any number of people we are in contact with that have not arrived on time, responded to an email in a timely fashion, acknowledged appreciation for something we have done, or any number of other events. We would like to believe that we know our family members, friends, co-workers, business associates and others well. Point being, across the political spectrum we all should acknowledge we can be wrong. This email requires intellectually honesty and being able to defend what we believe on a range of issues.
There is a story in this email where I do not reveal names, or what was the primary reason for the discussion I had with two former law clerks for current Supreme Court conservative Associate Justices. They reached out to me not too long ago through an intermediary.
DEMOCRATS AND THEIR OWN SELF-INFLICTED WOUNDS
The have been many books published, and interviews given about the declining mental health of former President Biden during the Biden presidency. Much of what has been written is what those closest to Biden hid from the public. I go further and say, any Democrat who had repeated discussions and/or meetings with former President Biden would have known former President Biden was not able to always perform his duties, most importantly a President's role as Commander in Chief. This deception by those who worked in the White House and/or cabinet members, and senior Democrat leadership in Congress nullifies any of these people from seeking office again, whether it be for Congress or the presidency.
WE ALL CAN BE WRONG AND PRESIDENT TRUMP - THE PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE
Currently, people are opining about President Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. The following is a look at undeniable facts that are easily corroborated. 1) President Trump attended a party in 1992 put together by a Florida businessman that was attended by Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and very young calendar girls. There were no other people invited to this party. I am not suggesting anything untoward took place. What is also true, is the Florida businessman expressed privately to Donald Trump how displeased he was that Epstein attended the party for the young calendar girls, because of stories the businessman had heard about Epstein and young girls. Donald Trump told the business man that Epstein would not be a problem at the party. 2) There have been multiple reasons provided by President Trump and his spokespeople why and when, President Trump separated himself from Epstein. 3) Mr. Trump was told by a member of Mar-a-Lago that the member's daughter was being harassed by Epstein. 4) Whether the separation of President Trump from Epstein was because of Epstein 'stealing' young girls from Mar-a-Lago's spa, a fight over a mansion that both Donald Trump and Epstein wanted to purchase, or any of the other reasons provided, the fact is Donald Trump waited years to ban Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, 2007 (scroll 1/2 down page.)
One final point about Epstein himself. It was President Trump's former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta that made a sweetheart deal with Epstein which resulted in a non-prosecution agreement (NPA), when Acosta was a U.S. Attorney. This sweetheart deal averted Epstein receiving a potential life sentence. The deal required Epstein to serve 13 months in jail, provided he agreed to plead guilty to two counts related to prostitution. During the 13 months Epstein was allowed to go to his office and his home up to 16 hours a day, while only spending 8 hours a day in jail. Victims of Epstein filed a lawsuit which resulted in a court ruling; the Epstein sweetheart deal violated the law because the victims of Epstein, were not notified of the non-prosecution agreement ahead of the sweetheart deal being finalized.
I fully support the House committee that has subpoenaed Bill Clinton and many other people. Strangely, Alex Acosta has not been subpoenaed. That is a travesty and begs the question, what is being hidden from the public? Front line prosecutors recommended Epstein be indicted for dozens of charges, and vehemently opposed the sweetheart deal Acosta gave Epstein. A few of these front line prosecutors should also be called as witnesses in upcoming congressional hearings.
None of what I am saying means President Trump violated any laws in his relationship with Epstein, and also begs another question which is, why didn't former President Biden or his Attorney General release the Epstein files? There were hundreds of young girls assaulted and/or raped. Republicans and Democrats are being disingenuous. Whether politicians, current or former were participants in the Epstein/Maxwell violations of young women only scratches the surface of who were potential violators of the girls. How about the large donors of Democrats and Republicans, corporate leaders, or dignitaries from other countries? The stories about releasing the grand jury testimony are a bait and switch. By law and necessity, grand jury testimony is kept secret. The grand jury testimony is a tiny fraction of the total amount of files/documents in the hands of the Department of Justice. There are hundreds of thousands of pages that could be released today without releasing Grand Jury testimony.
According to all available reporting and the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, it was actually Ghislaine Maxwell who recruited the young girls, not Epstein. It was the Department of Justice in President Trump's first term that charged Maxwell. I am not justifying anyone's actions in this horrid series of events. Keeping in mind what I opened this email with, which was how often we are wrong about people we know very well, none of us knows President Trump better than we know people in our families or others. Nobody should be condemning President Trump, or stating as a fact that President Trump did, or did not participate in what Epstein was known to have done. It does not look good when about a week ago President Trump's former personal attorney, and now Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche flew down to Florida and spent two days interviewing Maxwell, only to lead to Maxwell being transferred from a Florida detention facility with some violent people, to a minimum security facility called a Club Fed in Texas, a couple of days later. Maxwell has family members in Texas.
Interviews done by FBI field agents require that interview discussions be memorialized on a FD-302 form to be completed at the time of the interview, or immediately after. These forms can be released by the Justice Department now. Equally bad in appearance is, it is the job of a US Marshals to transfer prisoners from one state to another, not the Bureau of Prisons. It was the Bureau of Prisons who facilitated Maxwell's transfer from Florida to a Club Fed in Texas.
Maxwell is expected to testify before a congressional committee. This is a travesty. While I fully support Maxwell's right to appeal or provide relevant information to the media or others, I do not support Maxwell testifying. Maxwell knows the only benefit she can derive from testifying would only come if she did not implicate President Trump, or his closest allies in the atrocities that took place.
There is a presumption of innocence regardless of what anyone thinks about President Trump.
THE ECONOMY - FACTS MATTER
I have been and remain dubious about the state of our economy. At a time of a tremendous amount of uncertainty, this was not the time to fire the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Truth matters, and the jobs report is compiled based on the work of dozens of math statisticians. As time moves forward, additional surveys/statistics come in from the state and local level that necessitate revisions to monthly reports. The commissioner, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, who was fired was confirmed by the Senate 86 to 8, with 6 U.S. Senators not voting. There are over 120,000 surveys sent out to government and businesses that result in the Current Employment Statistics (CES). There was a loss of manufacturing jobs. Former President Biden also had periods when his administration did not create manufacturing jobs.
Here are some relevant facts which will be able to be corroborated once a new post is published on the Constitutional Alliance web-site. A) Inflation had ticked back up during President Trump's second term. That said, inflation is about where it was when President Trump took office this past January. B) More early school shopping was done by parents in July than recorded in previous years. The reason given by the parents was concern about tariffs. C) Unemployment has ticked back up. D) Large companies have already announced large layoffs coming in the future, and they have also announced plant closings. This are facts most people are not aware of because the facts come from the future guidance of companies, when the companies give their quarterly financial reports. E) Gas prices are essentially flat from where they were when President Trump took office. F) Grocery prices are slightly up from when President Trump took office. G) The prices of electricity is higher today than when President Trump took office. The U.S. still has one of the lowest rates for retail electricity in the world. H) 46% of Project 2025 has already been implemented. The Project 2025 Tracker shows what has already been implemented in each federal government agency and/or department, and which aspects of Project 2025 remain to be implemented in each agency and/or department. Total implementation goal is in about four months from now. What I do not do is comment on how I feel about Project 2025. Click on the hyperlink provided (46% of Project 2025 - above) to read what is left to be implemented. You should be prepared for what is to come.
In all fairness to President Trump, there is a case to be made that under new trade agreements with all countries, we do not know what the final result will be on every area of our economy. Prices may go down in many areas. President Trump did say Americans could feel some economic pain when speaking immediately after taking office. You will not find many Democrats that will mention President Trump did talk about economic pain in the beginning of this term in office.
ACKNOWLEDGING HOW MUCH THE GOVERNMENT HAS TAKEN IN FROM TARIFFS
The tariffs have already resulted in the U.S. collecting over $100 billion. This sounds good, but again intellectually honesty requires admitting we do not know where the money is going and how much of the tariffs has already been passed on to consumers here in the United States.
President Trump has said he is considering a rebate to people for the short term pain he knows people are suffering. Congress would have to pass legislation for a rebate to happen. Right now, Congress has not taken up rebate legislation.
Repeatedly, I have said everyone should be rooting for President Trump's policies on the economy to be successful; I know I am. That said, I have also articulated I can root for my favorite football team, while at the same time disagree with the head coach's play calling.
The moment in time is fast approaching when Congress must pass a budget or Continuing Resolution (CR). As of this email, there is not a consensus with the Republican caucus on a budget. A budget or CR must get done by the end of September, if not sooner to avoid a government shutdown.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - WHAT YOU ARE NOT BEING TOLD THAT WE DID NOT KNOW 2 YEARS AGO
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being utilized far too much, and too fast. Recently experts in Artificial Intelligence have completed experiments themselves. These experts also had discussions with others who use AI. A) AI programs have a real sense of self-preservation. It is documented that when a company/programmer attempted to change AI programs, the AI program searched the program engineer's/company's emails looking for embarrassing emails which the AI program threatened to release. At first, it was considered this issue only occurred with one AI program. When different AI programs were tested, the same results occurred 80% or more times. B) AI has also reached a point where it responds to questions the way the person asking the questions wants to hear, thereby lessening the likelihood of the software developer will shutdown the AI program, or change AI programs. C) AI programs are finding back doors to our infrastructure software, thereby allowing for AI to shutdown or modify our infrastructure.
One final point on AI - many entry level jobs will start being done by AI, not people.
REDISTRICTING/GERRYMANDERING
The media reporting about the redistricting or gerrymandering taking place in Texas is hypocritical. While it is true, in almost all cases gerrymandering occurs after the ten year census is released, that is not a law to prohibit what Texas is doing. If a person was to look at California, Illinois, Massachusetts, and other blue states, far more Republicans are registered in these states, than these states have Republican representation in Congress. I do not support the request by the Governor of Texas to use the FBI to arrest Democratic state legislators in Illinois or other states. Nobody has a good explanation for why the FBI would have any jurisdiction in this matter. As it is, the FBI and other agencies and departments are having people removed to focus on the mission of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement.) My chief concern is we do not know how all the personnel moves have affected our counter-terrorism capabilities.
President Trump has said he wants a new census done now that would not include people in the country illegally. There will be court battles that tie up such a maneuver. Although, I agree with President Trump about the issue of who should be counted for a census, the effort would be a Herculean task.
MY CALL WITH TWO FORMER LAW CLERKS FOR CURRENT CONSERVATIVE ASSOCIATE SUPREME COURT ASSOCIATE JUSTICES
I did not initiate this call. I will not discuss the method of the call; whether it was Skype, Zoom, or another method. I also will not discuss what the supposed primary purpose for the call was. What I will discuss is what I was asked before we eventually got to the supposed purpose of the call. I say 'supposed' because of what I was asked in the beginning of the call that coincidentally coincided with a Supreme Court ruling the next day.
I was told by the individual who invited me to speak with the law clerks that I should not bring up Real ID or biometrics because it would be seen as me not respecting the important issue the former Supreme Court law clerks wanted to discuss. I was asked if I could help raise an important issue in one or more states. I responded affirmatively, and within 24 hours demonstrated in an undeniable way, I could do what they wanted and more.
Surprisingly to me, the call started with me being questioned about Peter Thiel and Palantir. I clearly stated my opposition to creating a master database versus keeping information siloed in each agency or department's own database. I explained that a master database created a treasure trove for bad state actors and/or individuals to get their hands on. The next day the Supreme Court ruled DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) could access the Social Security Administration database. This ruling was a basis for other government databases to be accessed by DOGE and what is being called a Master Database.
Over the years I have repeatedly said, Information is Power and Power is Control. I am leery when any president wants to control the information flow. Most of us are familiar with, 'Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.' A slight variation from what is credited to British historian Lord Action.
I am also very concerned about a leaked memo that says there is a coordinated effort to use active duty military for domestic law enforcement.
Even in jest, I do not think it is funny to talk about running for a third term in office given today's political environment. Acts of political violence are way up and rising quickly.
I SEE FOUR WAYS FOR THE MID-TERM ELECTIONS TO GO - WHAT DO YOU THINK?
1) The economic numbers improve and the Republicans hold the Senate and House.
2) The economic numbers stay about where they are and the Republicans hold the Senate and Democrats take the House.
3) The economic numbers get much worse, and the Democrats take the Senate and House.
4) We are involved in a war with Iran and/or Yemen and Martial Law is declared, using the millions of people who entered the United States illegally as being the reason. In my research of Martial Law, what I found was not a clear cut answer on who and when Martial Law can be declared. In some ways, the issue of Martial Law is like a diamond with many facets. Depending on what angle you look at the diamond from, you may or may not find an inclusion. There are many commentaries that differ on the subject of Martial Law. If and when Martial Law is declared, could decide if there is a mid-term election in 2026.
Which of the four do you believe will happen, or do you believe there are more possibilities?
THE LAST QUESTIONS - PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT!
It is not a secret that when the man or woman on the street is asked questions about their own home state or about people in the federal government, the answers are disappointing.
Is it time that a few decide for the many? Is it time for our current Constitutional Republic to be in our rear view mirror? Lets be intellectually honest and admit we are more divided than we have been since the Civil War. People want to live in areas with other like-minded individuals. As stated previously, political violence is way up.
For my part, I not only believe our Constitutional Republic should and must be protected, there also must be more honesty and transparency from those that govern.
As God would have it, this evening I, and many others received an email from Charles Key. Most of you are not familiar with Charles. The point I want to make is contained in a blog Charles wrote in March this year. The blog goes right to the point of should the ability of citizens to have a voice in their government be controlled by a few. If you would like a copy of the email Charles sent out tonight please let me know. In my humble opinion, whether you live in Oklahoma, know people that do live in Oklahoma, or live in one of many states that are attempting to do what the Oklahoma Governor and leadership in the legislature has done, you should read the email I received.
