Get Ready for It

Major Public Announcement

The Constitutional Alliance is an advocacy group who is about to make a major public announcement. We hope to make that announcement within the next 30 days. The aftermath of that announcement will be a buzz of updates and related information. Consider signing up for eMail updates to stay informed.

Leaving FaceBook

When we make this upcoming announcement, we will also be leaving FaceBook. From then on, the only way to participate or keep up with what is happening will be to visit the Constitutional Alliance website and/or receive eMail updates.

Making Money with PII

Throughout time technologies arrive, without fanfare, and without reasonable and prudent oversight. Little to no concern for one’s privacy is yielded while creating money making schemes using PII (personal identifiable information) which is marketed for profit like lollipops in a candy store.

Consider Stingray. Stingray is an electronic device which mimics a cell phone tower. Law enforcement began using these secretly. What happens with a Stingray does not stay in Vegas. This device is affixed to telephone poles, when turned on they begin hijacking mobile phone calls simply by acting like a cell phone tower. One’s phone doesn’t differentiate the two and since the Stingray is nearest to the phone a connection is made, the phone’s presence is recorded and logged, and the Stingray device purposely garners all of the information from your phone that your phone freely gives out. Yes, shall we say “super spy” device or shall we say “super privacy invasion” device. Law enforcement implemented these devices under non-disclosure agreements and certainly spied upon us without a warrant!

This brings us to a disturbing trend in technology. The longer a company can hide below the radar with invasive or obtrusive technologies the greater ability the company will yield to it’s customers “often law enforcement” to capture more PII, including biometrics, without the Citizenry being any the wiser.

Two Companies Exposed

Let’s expose 2 companies one should be aware of.

Jumio, jumio.com, is a data collection company that verifies the information one is asked to provide in order to do business with a company or government entity. Jumio verifies the information for the company or government entity. This could be one’s address or any other PII.

CLEAR, clearme.com, is best known for biometric authentication. CLEAR is used by the TSA (transportation security administration) for their authorization needs.

PII being Monitized

Why care? Maybe because your PII, including biometrics, is being monitized at an alarming rate and you are not being paid for it’s use or specifically asked for your permission to use it. Maybe because this is known as passive recognition; meaning you are unaware that you’ve been identified, vetted, and tied to a database entry(ies) which could have inaccuracies or compromised data. Maybe because you are trusting the fact that the live person, who may be processing this passive recognition and all of the database entry(ies), is not about to share this most personal demographic, geographic, and lifestyle (PII) information with social media, your friends, your coworkers, or others who have no need to know. You don’t even know who that live operator is, but they all of a sudden know one heck of a lot about you; even if it is incorrect information.

This puts your PII at risk of being compromised by identity thieves and other bad actors. It may even put you at risk should an incorrect match be made or incorrect PII exists and becomes attached as being you. The scenarios and possibilities are endless.

This use of PII activity is not only allowed but is actually driven by all levels of government. Many pundits within government would propose that privacy no longer exists. Many Citizens have falsely believed this Spin that privacy is gone forever. Let me assure you that such thought is way off course and is false. After decades working for the nations largest consumer of data mining databases and showing others how to restore their privacy based on the use of real life methods that work, let me make one thing loud and clear: one’s privacy can be restored. I’ve spoken before world thought leaders on this topic, and many have followed my teachings and restored their privacy.

If one could persuade State and National legislators to start protecting our PII, rather than facilitating widespread money making using PII then the path to privacy would be easier. Today, the Third Party Doctrine essentially states that you provide your PII to companies voluntarily and whomever you provide PII to may gain from it by selling, renting, and trading your PII. PII does include biometrics.

Historical Problems

Only the Constitutional Alliance warned all Citizens that States are not verifying birth certificates.

We’ve made folks aware that States are not purging their voter rolls of deceased people, or utilizing FOD (Fact of Death) queries.

The Social Security Administration has tens of millions of errors! Really? Yes, the results of an Inspector General report yielded that the Social Security database shows 6.5 million people in the United States who are over 112 years of age. Through fact checking, at the time, there were only 3 dozen people worldwide who were actually over 112 years of age. Should this be a concern to us? Probably.

The Constitutional Alliance was first to announce that a French company, that the Federal Government contracts with, uses a Russian crafted biometric algorithm. For those who don’t know, it is illegal to use any Russian made software to fulfill a contract with the United States of America. Five months after we first announced this, the mainstream media was in a position where they finally reported on it. We are still waiting for our government to tell the American people if our government has been allowed to inspect this source code for compliance with the law. There does seem to be a shell game of companies taking place which hinders this investigation. The Constitutional Alliance is doing the best we can to identify if State and Federal databases have been compromised because of the Russian algorithm.

Regardless of Politics Everyone Should be able to Protect their PII

The Constitutional Alliance is nearing the cusp of taking action in nearly every State. The major public announcement that is coming soon will help clear up the sort of activities we will be undertaking. Which States we work in will depend upon how may people from the respective States sign up for our eMail updates. In this era of divisiveness, we believe everyone must have the right and ability to protect their PII and anonymity; regardless of one’s political ideology.

The Constitutional Alliance works with private citizens, state and national groups and organizations, ministries, state and national elected and appointed leaders, and other advocacy groups.

It is not the business of state or federal government, private companies and corporations, or other people to know where you are, who you are with, where you have been, what you have been and are doing, and so forth.

Biometrics is the Linchpin of a Surveillance State

Biometrics is the linchpin of a surveillance state. One cannot reconcile a surveillance state with a free society.

We will start sending out our email updates and newsletter once we make our major announcement within 30 days. Once that happens we will no longer be on FaceBook and the Constitutional Alliance website and eMail updates will be our vessel of communication going forward.

Steve Meyer is the Chief Executive Officer of the Constitutional Alliance.
