Constitutional Alliance Announces Leadership Change

The Constitutional Alliance Evolves: From Nonprofit Advocacy to For-Profit Powerhouse

ANKENY, IOWA — March 7, 2020 — The Constitutional Alliance is not just restructuring; we are rearming.

Today, we announce a decisive strategic pivot: the transition from a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to a dynamic, for-profit entity. This is not a retreat; it is an acceleration. We are forming a new company, appointing a new Chairman and CEO, and launching with a renewed, ironclad commitment to our Mission Statement.

Why the Change? For the past six months, we made a deliberate, strategic decision to pause all donation activities. We needed a clean break—a clear line in the sand—to ensure our transition from a charity model to a sustainable, high-impact business model was absolute. This pause allowed us to rebuild our foundation without the constraints of the past, ensuring that every dollar we raise in the future is invested directly into execution, not overhead.

The Result:

  • New Leadership: A fresh Chairman and CEO are taking the helm, bringing the agility and resources needed to scale our mission.
  • Unified Founders: Every original co-founder stands firmly behind this decision, ready to drive this new chapter forward together.
  • Sustainable Growth: We are moving away from the volatility of donations to a model built on value, service, and long-term impact.

What This Means for You: We are not asking for donations today. We are asking for your attention and your voice. The battle for privacy and liberty requires more than just funds; it requires a movement.

Join the Next Phase. The work continues, but the engine has changed. We are building something bigger, faster, and more resilient.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Constitutional Alliance Unleashes New Era: Steve Meyer Named Chairman & CEO as Organization Transitions to For-Profit Powerhouse

ANKENY, IOWA — March 7, 2020 — The Constitutional Alliance is entering its most aggressive phase yet.

Today, we announce the official reorganization of Constitutional Alliance, LLC, with Steve Meyer stepping into the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. This strategic transition from a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to a for-profit entity unlocks unprecedented freedom to serve our community, our country, and the constitutional rights of every American.

Why This Matters: For over a decade, the Constitutional Alliance has stood as the rare coalition uniting the ACLU and ACLJ in opposition to the Real ID Act of 2005. Now, we are removing the constraints that limited our impact.

"As a for-profit business, we will have more freedom to better serve our community and country," said Meyer. "The nonprofit structure provided tax benefits for donors, but it limited us to education. We are ready to act."

Leadership Continuity:

  • Steve Meyer (Chairman & CEO): A data mining industry insider, AI pioneer, and nationally recognized expert on security, privacy, and the PII trading marketplace.
  • Mark Lerner (Executive Consultant): Co-founder, biometrics industry whistleblower, and expert witness in high-profile national and international cases.

All original co-founders are 100% aligned with this decision and will continue participating as we scale.
