THE ROADMAP AHEAD: WHY WE CAN’T AFFORD TO LOOK AWAY – WAR and MORE

There will not be many emails this year. I will explain below. This article addresses surveillance, the economy, and the war with Iran. Focus on the present: we are at war. Blaming one another now is like arguing over who started a house fire while still trapped inside. First, get out of the house; then determine what caused the fire. If you choose to do nothing, you remain inside while the arguing continues. Doing nothing is not an option. I make a strong suggestion about what we can all do.

BEFORE MOVING ON.

A book is coming that will address Man’s attempt to have god-like power by continuing to grow the surveillance state, country by country, all over the world. And until the book is published, there's work each of us must do. Including you.

This book will provide a roadmap: how we got here, and where we're headed. Never forget, Information is Power and Power is Control. Corporations and government are acquiring the information to control all of us.

I'll name names in the book. There is a person who connects surveillance, the Iran war, and what President Trump is about to do.

NOW, MOVING ON.

This is an all-hands-on deck moment in our country’s history and world history. Make no mistake about the United States being at war with Iran. It will benefit the surveillance state, corporations, and increase the power of the federal government.

Some will say I'm too favorable to President Trump. Others will say I'm not giving President Trump enough credit.

WHAT I'VE DONE

I've moved out of my home to write a book as quickly as possible. It is the hardest thing I've ever done. My wife understands and supports me. I still see her a few times a week. The financial hardship is worth the cost of warning people and providing future generations with a roadmap of how we got to where we are.

Solitude, prayer, and peace are necessary to write about Man's attempt to achieve god-like power. It didn't work out well for Lucifer/Satan/the devil and one-third of the angels. It will not work out well for Man either. For those who do not believe there is a God or Satan, I ask are you comfortable with government and corporations knowing more about you than your family does?

TECHNOLOGY: THE SURVEILLANCE STATE IS HERE

In the past three months alone: countless data breaches, unconstitutional tech deployments, and new technologies nobody's talking about.

Smart contact lenses concern me a lot. These won't just improve vision—they'll eventually be able to deliver what smart glasses already do, plus biometrics. Wearers of the lenses will get driving directions, use Facial Recognition, access multiple databases, conduct financial transactions, and monitor vital health indicators like blood pressure and glucose.

FLOCK's Automatic License Plate Readers have gotten attention. But most experts aren't telling you about FLOCK's new mobile app: any law enforcement officer can download a FLOCK app and turn their smartphone into a FLOCK camera. FLOCK coordinates with other companies who provide Facial Recognition, predictive analytics, and AI.

I wrote about predictive analytics 18 years ago. Remember PHI (Project Hostile Intent)? FAST (Future Attribute Screening Technology)? Search the Constitutional Alliance website. Twenty years ago, I was the first to warn that biometrics would become the foundation of the worldwide surveillance state.

I was also the first person to provide the federal government with irrefutable evidence of fraud by the largest biometric company in the U.S. at the time. I provided testimony as an unnamed witness, not a plaintiff in a federal lawsuit.

I'm sure many of you have benefited others in ways I haven't. Nothing special about me. All Glory Belongs to God.

Times are extremely hard economically and otherwise. Know this: there are people who still want what's best for all citizens. Good state legislators exist. There are also good members of Congress. Too often, leadership silences good state legislators and members of Congress.

I've traveled the country for years—state capitals, Washington D.C., meeting with members of Congress and their staff, in addition to committee counsels. I helped young people get congressional jobs; a couple worked in the first Trump administration.

I still speak with state legislators, members of Congress and their staff, and Trump administration officials when possible. My health makes time precious. Retirement isn't an option.

THE ECONOMY: SMALL BUSINESSES ARE THE CANARY

Small businesses create nearly half the jobs and account for nearly half GDP. Their bankruptcies are rising at rates unseen in years. Small businesses do not benefit from the tax cuts large corporations got in the Big Beautiful Bill.

Prices keep climbing. Credit card debt is surging. Consumer sentiment hits new bottoms monthly. Ask family farmers how they're doing. Consumers have continued to spend but using credit cards or savings will only fuel an economic collapse.

Inflation hit a three-year high last month. For the first time in years, inflation outpaced wage growth. Retail inflation is approaching 4%. In April 2026, wholesale inflation reached 6% year-over-year. 2% is widely considered acceptable.

Diesel fuel is at or near all-time highs. Most goods move by truck. The trucking industry has had three bad years in a row.

Millions have lost healthcare. Healthcare costs are rising faster than the cost of groceries.

I'm not partisan. Recent job numbers exceeded expectations—but the actual number of people working was down. AI (Artificial Intelligence) won't improve this. We're not informing young people enough about working in trades. Electricians, welders, mechanics, are needed—these are six-figure careers.

Blaming President Trump is easy. Democrats own their share of our problems. Open borders for four years didn't help. Focus on the here and now. We are at war.

WE NEED SOLUTIONS—NOT JUST BLAME

Another person and I proposed a solution to verify identities (make sure people are who they say they are), clean voter rolls - improving voting integrity, and remove those illegally receiving entitlement benefits. Cost: under $50 million.

Why hasn't Trump's administration implemented it? Fear. People in his inner circle won't suggest effective less expensive, more efficient methods for fear of bucking Trump and facing retribution.

A nationally respected identity expert from a 501(c)(3) provided sworn testimony at my request: I would speak to this person regularly. Breeder documents—the foundational records establishing citizenship and identity—must be verified by federal law for over 20 years. Questionable if they're being verified now. Birth certificates are one example of a breeder document. There are provisions for the few people who do not have and cannot acquire an acceptable breeder document. Almost all people believe a biometric such as fingerprints or Facial Recognition Technology identifies them. It is not true and never has been. Biometrics simply authenticate a person’s biometrics, with a biometric sample and name in a database. However, the person may not be who they say they are or even a citizen. Fraudulent breeder documents have been a problem for decades. The solution I offered would stop people from using fraudulent breeder documents.

I have done what I can to have 45 minutes with President Trump, his Chief of Staff, and the DHS Secretary. We could save hundreds of billions of dollars. National security would be greatly enhanced. Many people obtained driver's licenses over the years when breeder documents weren’t verified. Democrats and Republicans share responsibility.

Prayerfully, we won't be attacked on our soil by someone who fraudulently obtained a Real ID compliant license. I have documented in several articles available on the Constitutional Alliance website that tens of thousands of authentic Read ID compliant drivers’ licenses were issued to people who are not in our country legally and/or otherwise should not have been issued a Real ID license.

THE IRAN WAR

Was Iran violating former President Obama’s JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action)? No, according to the IAEA (international Atomic Energy Agency). When President Trump withdrew from the agreement in 2018, no independent analysis showed Iran was violating the agreement by enriching Uranium.

That said, like many agreements, issues can emerge meriting withdrawal and a new deal—one such issue is Iran funding proxies: Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, Shia militias in Iraq and Syria—all responsible for killing U.S. private citizens and military personnel.

Whether Trump withdrew in 2018 or not, the JCPOA would have expired in 2033. I can make a compelling case: we're in a better position to confront Iran now than in 2033—seven years from now. Those that know me, know I am not a war hawk. We cannot and must not trust the Iranian regime in place today. Iran cannot be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon.

Iran is also pursuing an ICBM capable of reaching the United States. According to Mehr News Agency (state-run Iranian media), Iran is prepared to test such a missile.

THE WAR WITH IRAN

Congress refusing to hold a War Powers Resolution vote doesn't change the fact we are at war. This is a war we cannot lose—a war most of the world cannot afford for the U.S. to lose. Congress being afraid to hold the vote for political reasons is nothing new.

I agree with President Trump: European allies should join us against Iranian leadership. Let's win. Ensure Iran cannot develop nuclear weapons. Then we can debate whether President Trump was right to do what he has done.

Do you believe Iran with a nuclear weapon isn't an existential threat?

Voters can voice approval or disapproval of President Trump’s actions in the midterms. Except for a couple of Republicans, the Republicans in Congress have supported Trump. In that sense, President Trump is on the ballot this November.

About 100 hours into the war, I emailed a former elected official who now has a ministry. Word for word:

"I don't believe using Kurds to overthrow the regime and lead a populist uprising will succeed. Unless we wipe out most of the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), regular army troops, and police, the Iranian people attempting to overthrow the regime will be slaughtered. We'll know soon enough about Iran's capability to block the Strait of Hormuz. I don't believe most people understand Iran's cyber capabilities..."

PRIOR PLANNING PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE

We're spending too much time on what should have been done—not enough on what should be done now.

We should have anticipated Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz. Now that Iran controls the Strait, Iran's leadership will let 93 million Iranians suffer before surrendering the Strait. During the 1980s Iran-Iraq war, Iranians suffered for years more than they are suffering today. Don't expect Iran to capitulate.

President Trump has three bad choices:

  1. Back down and settle for less—emboldening Iran
  2. Put boots on the ground
  3. Give concessions to China in exchange for pressure on Iran.

If option 3 fails and I believe it will, we're back to 1 or 2.

Either end this war now, or deal with the IRGC for years. All enriched uranium must be removed. Where it goes is for higher authorities to decide. Regime change is needed.

If we wait too long, the people in Gulf Coast nations and their neighbors will oppose and protest their leaders' actions. We're not at war with all Muslims. — but if this war drags on, people in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and Kuwait will demand that U.S. forces leave the region. You can agree or disagree about U.S. troops staying in the region but first we must deal with the current Iranian regime and ensure the Strait of Hormuz is open for all countries to use. We cannot allow Iran to hold the world hostage.

WHAT YOU CAN AND SHOULD DO

If you think I'm asking too much, I contend I'm asking for the bare minimum given current events.

  1. Share this article with everyone you contact. Share the Constitutional Alliance website: ConstitutionalAlliance.org

  2. Contact your state congressional delegation. Ask how they see the Iran war ending. Don't let them off the hook. The Constitution says only Congress can declare war.

  3. Demand from your state and national representatives: absent a court-approved search warrant, Facial Recognition Technology must not be used in public areas. If CCTV captures a crime, law enforcement must obtain a John/Jane Doe warrant before using Facial Recognition.

I will never support Man's attempt to achieve god-like power; neither should you.

Blessings,

Mark
