Kentucky State Senate nominee Adrienne Southworth receives Badge of Honor Award
ANKENY, IOWA – Kentucky State Senate , District 7, Republican nominee Adrienne Southworth has been awarded the Constitutional Alliance’s coveted Badge of Honor award. During the 15 year history of the Constitutional Alliance there have only been 5 Badge of Honor awards given to select individuals who’s performance and stated positions align with the Constitutional Alliance’s position against the Real ID Act of 2005 and it’s subsequent mandatory collection of biometrics from law abiding United States Citizens.
Adrienne Southworth’s views on the Real ID Act of 2005 is in good company. The Constitutional Alliance, a non-partisan group, ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice), a right wing group, and ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), a left wing group, all came together at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. and denounced the Real ID Act of 2005 as bad for everyone.
Since it’s inception, there have been many state legislators and members of Congress who have rejected the Real ID Act 2005 and it’s requirement for innocent U.S. citizens to provide their biometrics to either state government or the federal government. Few have voiced their objections as a central part of their platform to protect the First and Fourth Amendment rights of United States Citizens.
Adrienne Southworth has won the Republican nomination for the Kentucky State Senate, District 7. We are endorsing Adrienne Southworth in the race to become a state senator. Adrienne Southworth is one of only two candidates we have ever endorsed.
One’s biometrics, fingerprints, DNA, high resolution digital facial image for use with Facial Recognition Technology, iris scans, DNA, voice recognition, vein recognition, and other unique characteristics of our body must be protected absent a court approved warrant.
The continuing use of domestic surveillance in instances where no crimes has been committed must come to an end.
